Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a senior geologist to oversee complex subsurface evaluations for underground gas and liquids storage. You will provide technical leadership in drilling, cavern integrity, and workover planning, with independent execution and cross-functional collaboration.

You will mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and drive improvements in data quality and process standards for organizational assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology or geologic engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of underground storage experience.
• Experience reading regulations, reports, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Own complex subsurface analyses and monitoring for cavern data and integrity results.
• Lead drilling/solution mining workups and justify technical plans.
• Resolve cavern integrity challenges via detailed interpretation and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor junior staff and guide cross-functional teams on technical issues.
