Job summary
Enbridge seeks a Senior Gas Storage Engineer to lead engineering and integrity-management for underground gas storage assets in Houston, TX. You will monitor wellbore and reservoir integrity, support safe operations, and guide maintenance and optimization of storage wells, reservoirs, and related infrastructure.
The role requires a strong background in gas storage operations, asset integrity, and risk modelling, along with GIS and engineering software proficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; Petroleum/Geological focus preferred.
- Six years minimum experience in gas storage or related industries.
- Knowledge of gas storage operations, asset integrity, risk engineering, API well-design standards, API RP 1171.
Responsibilities
- Monitor storage-field wellbore and reservoir integrity and interpret operating data.
- Provide technical engineering support for safe operation, maintenance, and optimization of storage wells, reservoirs, and related assets.
- Maintain and validate storage risk models; advance integrity risk-management processes and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain federal/state regulatory filings and reports; support regulatory audits and agency interactions.
- Plan and coordinate well testing, inspections, integrity assessments, and reservoir workovers; manage budgets and schedules.
