Job summary

ONEOK is seeking an Environmental Professional III to serve as senior technical leader responsible for environmental compliance across our Natural Gas Pipeline segment. The role engages regulators, leads audits, and drives corrective actions while protecting business outcomes.

You will mentor staff, build compliance systems, and manage permits for air, SPCC, waste, and project permitting, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in environmental/science/engineering.
• 6–10 years of experience in environmental compliance.
• Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations.
• Ability to analyze, prepare permit applications, logs and reports.
• Strong communication and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Mentor entry level staff on compliance systems.
• Lead audits and corrective action closure.
• Develop tools to collect compliance data.
• Manage permit applications for multiple media.
• Coordinate environmental compliance across projects.
• Interface with regulatory agencies.
