Job summary

Enbridge seeks a Senior Gas Storage Engineer to lead engineering and integrity-management activities for underground gas storage assets in Houston, TX. You will monitor wellbore and reservoir integrity and provide technical guidance for maintenance and optimization.

You will develop storage risk processes, support regulatory filings, and coordinate testing, inspections, and capital projects across Operations and Asset Integrity teams. Strong collaboration and GIS skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with Petroleum/Geological focus.
Six years minimum in gas storage or E&P or related industries.
Knowledge of gas storage operations, asset integrity, risk engineering, risk modelling, API well-design standards, API RP 1171, and related equipment operations and maintenance practices.
Understanding reservoir storage engineering, surface and subsurface equipment, well testing, transient pressure analysis, and geological conditions affecting storage fields.
Experience with state oil and gas and storage regulations, safe well-site practices, and management of technical consultants, work crews, contractors, and service companies.
Safety-focused, customer-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; GIS proficiency.

Responsibilities

Monitor storage-field wellbore and reservoir integrity, interpret data and identify capacity, performance, or integrity concerns.
Provide technical engineering support for safe operation, maintenance, and optimization of storage wells, reservoirs, and related assets.
Maintain and validate storage risk models and advance integrity risk-management processes, assessments, and procedures.
Prepare federal and state regulatory filings and reports, support audits, and represent Enbridge with agencies and contractors.
Plan and coordinate well testing, inspections, integrity assessments, repairs, upgrades, and reservoir well workovers with budgets and schedules.
Develop and support operations, maintenance and capital projects, maintain engineering maps, studies, logs, and well files, and collaborate across groups.
