Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field.
• P.G. license or eligibility and willingness to obtain within hiring timeframe.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible environmental consulting experience.
• Experience managing environmental assessment and remediation projects.
• Demonstrated success managing clients and developing new business opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.
• Ability to supervise and provide technical oversight to project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage environmental assessment and remediation projects from planning through completion.
• Oversee due diligence and regulatory compliance projects, including site assessments and reporting.
• Provide technical consulting on geotechnical, geological, and environmental science issues.
• Prepare clear technical reports and deliverables, including environmental assessment reports and remediation plans.
• Review and approve technical work products for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical oversight.
• Serve as a primary client-facing contact and develop client relationships.
• Develop new business opportunities and proposals to expand the practice.
• Collaborate with leadership to expand the environmental consulting practice in Kansas and surrounding states.
• Coordinate field and office activities and travel as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state environmental regulations.
• Travel to project sites and client meetings as required.
