Job summary

TenOaks Energy Advisors, a Dallas-based energy advisory leader, seeks a Geologist to support A&D marketing with high-quality geologic analyses and presentation materials for clients and counterparties.

The role integrates with subsurface teams and engineers to strengthen technical deliverables, managing data, maps, and cross-sections while defending conclusions. Prior A&D or operator experience is preferred, with strong proficiency in Petra and GIS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of oil and gas experience in upstream, A&D or operator roles.
• Experience analyzing assets across 3+ basins with multiple reservoirs.
• Proficiency in Petra for subsurface evaluations (log interpretation, mapping, DB management).
• Background in reservoir characterization including log analysis, petrophysics, and volumetrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform geologic analyses and subsurface evaluations for sell-side mandates.
• Create high-quality maps, exhibits, and slide materials for client deliverables.
• Present and defend geologic findings to clients and counterparts.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams while ensuring data quality.
