Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking a Geologist III who will work from our Anchorage or Fairbanks offices (as well as other US locations) to collect, synthesize, and document data from investigated areas and support project documentation with field supervision. The role requires initiative, critical thinking, and the ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure.

You will mentor junior staff, lead in technical documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to safety culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in geology, physical or environmental science, or environmental engineering.
• 7–15 years of experience on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate under company policy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and supervise site inspections, investigations, and cleanups per regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians on data collection and evaluation for project objectives.
• Prepare technical evaluations and documentation for projects.
• Provide guidance and oversight to project staff and ensure documentation meets standards.
• Lead in creating effective team dynamics and perform technical QC of documents.
