Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks a Geologist II to support environmental projects from offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Salt Lake City or Grand Junction. You will collect and synthesize data, assist with project documentation, and provide field support as needed to ensure high-quality deliverables.

This role requires initiative and strong analytical skills, with experience in regulatory frameworks and environmental assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, physical or environmental science or environmental engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience on environmental projects.
• Must meet ADEC’s definition of a Qualified Professional.
• Familiar with 18 AAC 75 and 18 AAC 78 regulations and related guidance.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, investigations and data collection in environmental projects.
• Prepare technical evaluations following regulatory guidelines.
• Provide guidance and oversight to project staff producing documentation.
• Review permits, plans, and reports to ensure environmental compliance.
• Support senior staff and contribute to RFP responses.
