Kleinfelder's Rancho Cordova (Sacramento) office seeks a Senior Geological Engineer with 10+ years' experience in geological/geotechnical engineering, soil logging, foundation design, and field testing. This hybrid role requires travel within California and strong communication skills.

Ideal candidates will hold a CA PE (PG/CEG a plus), lead projects, develop staff, manage budgets, and present technical results to clients and review boards in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geological/geotechnical/c civil engineering or geology required.
• Professional Engineer license in California strongly preferred (CA PG/CEG a plus).
• 10+ years in consulting geotech/geology with strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical exploration, rock testing, and foundation design projects.
• Manage budgets, client communications, and schedule progress.
• Prepare and present technical reports to clients and review boards.
