Zusammenfassung

Kleinfelder is seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer for our Sacramento and Santa Rosa offices in California. You will lead geotechnical analyses for bridges, tunnels, and infrastructure, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering with 8–10 years of consulting experience and a California PE license. This role requires in-depth field support, report preparation, and project coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering is required.
• 8–10 years of geotechnical engineering experience preferred.
• CA PE license is required; GE designation preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate with multidiscipline team to prepare proposals and execute projects.
• Safely coordinate and supervise field exploration programs and construction observation.
• Perform engineering analyses: soil/rock classification, foundation capacity, settlements, slope stability, and seismic hazard evaluation.
• Prepare Geotechnical reports and construction drawings/specifications.
• Engage with clients and support project development through collaboration.
