Job summary

The role involves translating mission needs into system requirements, performing analyses, and overseeing integration and risk management, with on-site work at Springfield or Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in government or industry in DoD/IC acquisition, requirements, or large System of Systems environments.
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle and NGA/NSG/ASG projects.

Responsibilities

• Guides senior and junior engineers in requirements, scheduling, and integration across NSG/ASG and federal agencies.
• Oversees traceability of user requirements, architectures, and cloud/service constraints.
• Develops solutions designs based on requirements and new technologies.
• Assists in translating mission needs into system requirements and solutions.
• Performs systems integration activities and supports program planning and risk management.
• Contributes to AoAs, CoAs, and trade studies as part of program analysis.
• Supports operational planning, project management, and interface design.
• Operates at the level of integrating multiple systems across major acquisitions.
