Job summary

Peraton in Springfield, VA is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, and integration across the NSG, ASG, and Federal Agencies, ensuring timely and accurate GEOINT.

You will assist government and mid-level engineers in analyzing mission needs, allocating requirements, and contributing to technical planning and risk management throughout the system life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM field, or equivalent junior-level experience.
• Junior-level working systems engineering experience in government or industry.
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Assists in requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test & evaluation, maintainability, and analysis across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agencies.
• Assists with planning and analysis, including user requirements traceability and architecture traceability.
• Supports review of cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
• Assists Government in translating mission needs into system requirements and solutions.
• Supports allocation of requirements to system architecture components.
