Job summary

ANSER is seeking a GEOINT History Program Specialist - Senior to lead the management and execution of NGA's history program, from research and writing to curation and operations. This role provides oversight of history services within the contract, including AP style copy editing and quality assurance.

You will develop content, manage the Historical Research Center, and coordinate with NGA staff and partners on artifacts, exhibits, loans, and public-facing history communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in History or related field from accredited institution.
• 8+ years of hands-on history, geography, library science, or museum roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication with editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced role.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Content Development & Execution: research, develop, and publish historical content for internal and external audiences.
• Historical Research Center Management: oversee artifacts, archival management, and curation.
• NGA Museum Management: coordinate loans, exhibits, and museum communications.
• Internal Collaboration & Oversight: provide copy editing and QA for history products.
