Job summary

Bailey Information Technology, LLC seeks three Senior GEOINT History Program Specialists to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in Springfield, VA. The role focuses on preservation, curation, and storytelling of NGA’s historical collections, including archives, museum operations, and outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in history, geography, library science, museum studies, museum science, or related field.
• Or 8+ years of museum practice and related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 8 years hands-on experience in history programs, archives and records management, museum operations, artifact preservation and curation, and historical research and content development.
• Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, edit, and execute historical content for internal and external audiences.
• Produce engaging materials including articles, brochures, social media content, podcasts, website content, and museum exhibits.
• Ensure all products align with AP Style and quality standards.
• Coordinate NGA Historical Research Center maintenance and archival collections.
• Manage museum tours, exhibits, loans, and outreach with partner organizations.
• Provide copy editing and quality assurance for all history program products.
