RESPEC is seeking an experienced Geochemist to lead our mining geochemistry and biogeochemistry practice. This role offers opportunities for technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across North America.

Travel for client engagements, field activities, and conferences is expected as needed. The successful candidate will guide geochemical characterization programs, predictive modeling, and biogeochemical treatment projects, while contributing to business

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (MS or PhD) in Geochemistry, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of mining geochemistry or environmental consulting experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing technical consulting projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead geochemical characterization programs for mining projects.
• Direct laboratory and field investigations related to mine waste and biogeochemical processes.
• Interpret geochemical, environmental, hydrogeological and biogeochemical datasets.
