Job summary

Cajun Industries, LLC seeks a Geo-Structural Engineer to join the Deep Foundations team in Louisiana. You will evaluate geotechnical data to select deep foundation options and perform rigorous analyses for diverse projects.

The role requires 8+ years in geotechnical engineering, strong communication, and PE licensure in LA/TX or ability to obtain within six months. Proficiency in AutoCAD and pile design software is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering (Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering highly desired).
• 8+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineering Licensing in Louisiana and Texas is required or ability to obtain in 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Determination of geotechnical subsurface materials in order to identify various deep foundations design options.
• Perform geotechnical engineering calculations and analyses for various deep foundations types and applications.
• Interpret soil boring and CPT data.
• Check calculations made by other engineers to ensure accuracy, conformance, specifications and design criteria.
• Interface effectively with clients and project teams.
