Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is seeking a software product manager to join the Gene Reading Solutions Product Team. You will translate customer needs into software requirements and backlogs, work with Agile teams, and collaborate with assay, product, and software groups to shape strategy and roadmaps.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to accelerate delivery of customer value, manage cross-functional initiatives, and support internal software tools and workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software product management in an Agile environment.
• Experience with NGS, bioinformatics, genomic data analysis, molecular diagnostics, or another technically complex life science software domain.
• Experience prioritizing product backlogs and developing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria using Jira.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers, sales teams, and key stakeholders to understand customer workflows and market trends.
• Translate customer needs into software requirements, user workflows, and backlog items with Agile methodologies.
• Lead product management activities for new product introductions, including requirements definition and cross-functional execution.
• Provide product support for internal software tools and optimize workflows to achieve business objectives.
