Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group in the Power Generation group is seeking a Sr. Consulting Engineer to support generator engineering activities. The role can be filled part-time or full-time and offers remote and hybrid schedules with minimal travel.

As a subject matter expert, you will lead generator-related projects, plan activities to meet schedules, and engage with clients. Expect up to 10–15% travel to field sites while contributing to business development and knowledge sharing within a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree (or higher) in Engineering.
• 8–10+ years of proven experience in generator design, manufacturing, or service-related roles.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering calculations, assessments, and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for power plant consulting projects focused on generators, exciters, and auxiliaries.
• Interpret project objectives and develop actionable plans to meet schedule and hour targets.
• Prepare for client meetings and lead discussions with stakeholders.
• Travel up to 10–15% to support field projects and business development initiatives.
