Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry related experience.
• Experience with prompt engineering and prompt tuning techniques.
• Opinionated product-sense with focus on end-user experience.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
• Proficient in at least two programming languages such as C/C++, Go, Python, Java.
• Understanding product requirements and translating them into engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build the software layer translating foundation model capabilities into generative user experiences.
• Orchestrate ML APIs with data/services to power RAG architectures while upholding privacy standards.
• Collaborate with design, product and client-side teams to create intuitive UI features across Apple products.
• Define system contracts with ML infrastructure, data, and core platform teams for latency and reliability.
• Develop benchmarking and telemetry to measure real-time model performance in production.
• Mentor engineers and align localization efforts with a globalization team.
