Traylor Bros., Inc. is seeking a General Superintendent with proven expertise in cast‑in‑place segmental bridge construction to lead field execution on complex bridge projects. This role is critical for delivering safe, high quality, and on‑schedule work for segmental systems.

The position requires 10+ years in heavy civil construction, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with engineering, survey, and project management teams to meet tolerances and specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with direct experience in cast-in-place segmental bridge construction.
• Strong understanding of segmental construction methods (balanced cantilever, travelers, post-tensioning systems)
• Experience managing geometry control, survey coordination, and camber adjustments

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day field operations for cast-in-place segmental bridge construction, including travelers, form systems, and segment pours
• Execute work plans for segmental sequencing, stressing operations, and geometry control
• Coordinate closely with engineering, survey, and project management teams to maintain alignment, camber, and tolerances
• Oversee installation of post-tensioning systems, rebar, embeds, and formwork systems specific to segmental construction
• Manage concrete placement operations, including cycle times, curing, and quality control for segment pours
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and governing standards (e.g., DOT, AASHTO)
• Identify and resolve field issues related to geometry control, segment alignment, and construction tolerances
• Drive safety, productivity, and quality through proactive field leadership and planning
