Traylor Bros., Inc. is seeking a General Superintendent with proven expertise in cast-in-place segmental bridge construction to lead field execution on complex bridge projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction with direct cast-in-place segmental bridge experience.
• Strong understanding of segmental construction methods (balanced cantilever, travelers, post-tensioning).
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and segmental shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day field operations for cast-in-place segmental bridge construction, including travelers, form systems, and segment pours.
• Execute work plans for segmental sequencing, stressing operations, and geometry control.
• Coordinate with engineering, survey, and project management teams to maintain alignment, camber, and tolerances.
• Oversee installation of post-tensioning systems, rebar, embeds, and formwork systems for segmental construction.
• Manage concrete placement operations, including cycle times, curing, and quality control for segment pours.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and governing standards (e.g., DOT, AASHTO).
• Identify and resolve field issues related to geometry control, segment alignment, and construction tolerances.
• Drive safety, productivity, and quality through proactive field leadership and planning.
