Job summary

Roy Anderson Corp., a Tutor Perini company, is seeking a General Superintendent to lead all field operations on a major Oxford, MS project. The role reports to the Project Manager and focuses on safety, quality, schedule adherence, and coordination with subcontractors and clients.

The ideal candidate has extensive superintendent experience, a deep understanding of construction scheduling, and proven leadership and communication abilities to drive project success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 20 years of experience as a Superintendent.
• Comprehensive understanding of project scheduling and logistics planning.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall leadership and direction for all field operations, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and trade coordination.
• Communicates and coordinates with stakeholders associated with the project (Ownership, Architects, Engineers, AHJ).
• Support the preconstruction department in project planning and buyout.
• Manages & monitors construction activity to maintain compliance with contract specs and safety standards.
• Forecast required field personnel and assign duties as needed.
• Prepares, reviews and initials Daily Construction Reports.
• Reviews and updates the project schedule with internal scheduler.
• Leads subcontractor coordination meetings.
