Job summary

Zurich North America seeks a Senior Claims Specialist to join our Commercial General Liability team on a hybrid schedule with occasional in-office attendance at one of several NA offices, including Gold River, CA. You will apply policy interpretation and coverage analysis to resolve multi‑party claims of moderate to high exposure.

This role requires 6+ years in claims or litigation management, valid adjuster licenses, and strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor with 2+ years in claims or litigation management.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years in claims or litigation management.
• High School Diploma Equivalent with 8+ years in claims and/or litigation management.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 6+ years in claims and/or litigation management.
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 6+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management.
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products.

Responsibilities

• Handle multi-party commercial line claims of moderate to high exposure within specific authority limits.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, brokers and internal contacts to provide a quality claims experience.
• Develop knowledge of established protocols and industry best practices to ensure efficient, customer-centric claims handling.
