Job summary

Revantage, a Blackstone Real Estate services partner, seeks a Claims Specialist to manage third-party liability claims across North America. Based in a hybrid Dallas, TX or Chicago, IL role, you will lead strategy, coordinate with insurers and counsel, and drive timely resolutions while supporting governance and risk management.

The role requires 7–10 years of GL claim handling, strong knowledge of policy terms, indemnities, and defense strategies, plus RMIS and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of general liability claim handling experience, with at least 3 years focused on commercial real estate exposures.
• Strong knowledge of GL policy terms, additional insureds, indemnity agreements, and legal defense strategies.
• High attention to detail, judgment, and ability to manage adversarial and sensitive conversations.
• Strong collaboration skills across Legal, Risk, and Operations functions.
• Experience with RMIS platforms (e.g., Origami Risk) and Microsoft Office tools.
• Preferred: carrier or claim handler experience with insight into insurer operations and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of third-party liability claims from intake through resolution.
• Lead claim strategy and communication across internal stakeholders, portfolio companies, insurers, defense counsel, and TPAs.
• Escalate matters requiring legal oversight to in-house Legal or external counsel while managing the claim lifecycle and deliverables.
• Monitor reserve strategies and coordinate with Legal and Risk teams.
• Support governance, readiness, and resilience initiatives within the Claims function.
