Job summary

American Global is seeking a Senior General Liability Claim Advocate to manage complex claims from Berwyn, PA or Texas offices (Houston/The Woodlands or Dallas/Plano). The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, carriers, and internal teams to drive favorable outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years of general liability claims handling, strong communication skills, and the ability to guide coverage analysis, strategy, and settlements while maintaining client relationships and risk

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10+ years of direct general liability claims handling.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or related work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day claims activities with carriers and third-party administrators.
• Facilitate claim reviews with clients and/or insurance carriers when needed.
• Partner with client legal counsel on coverage, claims and settlement strategy.
• Facilitate periodic claim reviews focusing on reserving practices, strategy and resolution.
• Analyze claim information for frequency and severity trends and assist with risk-management recommendations.
