Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a hands-on GL Supervisor in Tigard, OR with strong hybrid flexibility. You will lead general ledger operations, monthly close, and fixed asset accounting under U.S.

GAAP. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you provide day-to-day direction, review complex journal entries, and mentor staff while maintaining ownership of reconciliations and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership or peer-review preference.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GL accounting, reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead general ledger and month-end close activities including journal entries and fixed assets.
• Perform reconciliations and analyze variances across bank and subsidiary accounts.
• Provide guidance and review entries and reconciliations prepared by staff.
• Own fixed asset lifecycle including capitalization, projects, disposals, and depreciation.
• Support audits and internal controls under U.S. GAAP.
• Drive process improvements and cross-departmental accounting initiatives.
