Job summary

CFS is seeking a hands-on General Ledger Supervisor to lead GL operations, close cycles, and fixed asset accounting under U.S. GAAP.

You will mentor staff, own complex journal entries, and drive accuracy across multiple entities in a professional office setting with strong hybrid flexibility in Tigard. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership or peer-review.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and deadline management across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close, including accruals and depreciation.
• Reconcile bank, general ledger, and subsidiary accounts; investigate variances.
• Provide guidance and review journal entries and reconciliations by staff.
• Own fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, and transfers.
• Support audits and provide documentation for internal and external audits under U.S. GAAP.
• Lead process improvements and accounting projects across departments.
