Job summary

EY is seeking a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate to support day-to-day general ledger, accounts payable, and expense processing. You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and assist with audits while ensuring GAAP compliance and timely reporting.

In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional finance teams, leverage Costpoint and advanced Excel, and contribute to process improvements in a government contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of related accounting experience with government contracting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; Deltek Costpoint required; experience with Costpoint modules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger account structures and configurations.
• Ensure GAAP, FAR, CAS compliance and EY policies.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations; assist audits.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and expense reports; maintain vendor records.
• Collaborate with various finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and close timelines.
