Job summary

Quickbase is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team. This role focuses on the general ledger, monthly close, and financial process improvements within a remote work setup based on the East Coast.

The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of accounting experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in ERP systems and Excel. You will collaborate across Accounting, FP&A, Payroll, Tax, and other business partners to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience including general ledger and month-end close.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee general ledger and accounting areas including cash, fixed assets, payroll, and intercompany accounting.
• Assist with tax-related accounting activities and intercompany reconciliations.
• Participate in finance system implementations and process improvements.
• Collaborate with FP&A and other stakeholders to ensure correct period classification.
