Qualifications

• BA/BS/BBA in Accounting required or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years progressive GL experience.
• Active Interim Secret Clearance (or higher) required; U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze general ledger posting errors, identify root causes and propose corrective actions or journal entries.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and IT to understand end-to-end transaction flows and upstream impacts on GL accuracy.
• Draft and update GL documentation including SOPs, guides, and white papers for clarity and internal controls.
• Document GL reconciliation steps, error resolutions, and financial impacts to support audits and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain GL-focused user guides and training materials to reduce discrepancies.
• Provide training and support to end users on GL functionality and month-end close.
