Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking an experienced Senior Staff professional to provide high-level oversight of Special Program Accounting and Finance activities in Washington, DC. You will lead accounting teams, ensure compliance with government requirements, and improve enterprise processes across sensitive programs.

The role requires deep government accounting expertise, strong analytics, and the ability to manage multisystem environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years in government accounting and finance.
• 5+ years with Business Case Analytics.
• 5+ years with Momentum or similar ERP systems.
• 4+ years leading complex projects and contracts.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level oversight of Special Program Accounting and Finance activities.
• Lead accounting teams, ensuring compliance with government financial requirements.
• Reconcile ledgers and interfacing systems with partner organizations.
• Translate accounting requirements into system functionality and provide Tier II support.
• Generate Ad Hoc reports using Business Analytics for multiple stakeholders.
• Drive TriAnnual Review process by identifying and correcting open items.
