Job summary

Hunter Industries is seeking a General Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting function, ensuring timely month-end close, accurate financial reporting, and thorough reconciliations. This role leads a team, coordinates with global accounting, and supports audits while driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate has strong GAAP knowledge, IFRS familiarity preferred, and excellent communication. Manufacturing experience is a plus, with a focus on accuracy and accountability across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in accounting with 3+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function to ensure timely close, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end close process end-to-end and ensure journal entries are recorded on time.
• Manage fixed asset function and depreciation for GAAP and tax compliance.
• Coordinate foreign accounting and transfers to US dollars; monitor international balances.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with interim and year-end audits.
