Job summary

Netflix's INK division seeks Software Engineers to build AI-enabled production tools for artists and TDs, collaborating with senior engineers to scale GenAI workflows across shows.

This role focuses on enterprise platforms, tooling, and secure infrastructure for artist‑led production. You will prototype workflows, set standards, monitor usage, and partner with infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions across the studio.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in animation studios and pipelines or GenAI workflows.
• Strong passion for empowering creative teams and production staff.
• Proven ability to own medium-to-large features within a team and drive goals.
• Familiarity with modern tools and the ability to integrate scalable workflows with internal Netflix solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend enterprise‑wide tech and platforms to support GenAI‑native production.
• Evaluate AI algorithms and package successful workflows for artists across shows.
• Define studio compute/workstation requirements with infrastructure teams and expose APIs.
• Prototype workflows in production, gather artist feedback, and improve usability and performance.
• Establish studio standards for generated assets and maintain artist tooling.
• Maintain production tracking and review toolsets across productions.
• Support TDs and artists with tooling and APIs for show integrations.
• Provide infrastructure monitoring and usage reports for HW/SW.
• Collaborate with security and infra teams to ensure reliability and compliance.
