Visa is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, GenAI Security, in Ashburn, VA. You will own end‑to‑end development of production GenAI security services, from design through deployment and monitoring, with latitude to address evolving threats and architectures.

You will work with engineers, researchers, and product teams to implement controls, evaluate new security tech, and support production releases in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Professional software-development experience building backend services and APIs.
• Experience with Python, Java, Go or similar languages.
• Experience with cybersecurity, secure software development, or AI security.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate GenAI security systems and services.
• Measure and improve detection, latency, and telemetry.
• Integrate security capabilities into enterprise apps and platforms.
• Apply threat modeling and secure coding practices.
