L&T Technology Services seeks a Language Model Scientist in Santa Clara to advance generative AI across the enterprise. You will tune LLMs, design agentic systems, and build guardrails, evaluating bias, safety and reliability.

You will deploy scalable models with cost-aware optimization and collaborate with multiple businesses to deliver high-value GenAI solutions. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in CS/AI/NLP with 8–15 years of ML/NLP experience, including hands-on LLM work and

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in CS/AI/NLP with PhD preferred.
• 8–15 years in ML/NLP, including 3+ years hands-on with LLMs.
• Track record deploying LLM apps in production at enterprise scale.
• Deep knowledge of transformer architectures, pre-training, fine-tuning, alignment.
• Strong Python with PyTorch, Hugging Face, DeepSpeed/FSDP and LLM tools.

Responsabilités

• Fine-tune and align LLMs for domain tasks across engineering specs and contracts.
• Design agentic systems with tool use, planning, memory and multi-agent orchestration.
• Build evaluation, guardrail and red-teaming frameworks for safety and bias.
• Deploy and scale LLMs in production with monitoring and cost optimization.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, and other domains on GenAI use cases.
