Blue Yonder is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (Gen AI and Machine Learning) to join the hybrid team in Coppell, TX. The role emphasizes backend work, GenAI integration, and scalable API design for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in software development, strong Python and Java experience, and familiarity with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, Kafka, and cloud ecosystems (Azure preferred). Onsite interviews only, LOCALS ONLY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field
• Strong Python coding background
• Proven AI/ML software development experience in forecasting and data science
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and customer teams
• Familiarity with cloud concepts across Azure, AWS, GCP

Responsibilities

• Backend development with Python including API development and telemetry
• Apply ML/data science techniques to improve forecast accuracy
• Provide customer support and handle escalations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into features
• Develop and maintain backend components using Java/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud
• Design scalable architectures and robust APIs for data exchange
