Job summary

Amazon is seeking a customer-obsessed Sr Data Scientist for the Alexa For Shopping Analytics team to own analytics strategy for GenAI-powered shopping experiences. You will mentor partners and build scalable analytics workflows, driving insights for executive decision-making in the AI shopping space.

You will shape product roadmap, work with product, engineering, and economics teams, and establish best practices for understanding customer behavior in AI-driven shopping experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data querying languages (SQL) or statistical software experience
• 4+ years of data scientist experience
• Experience with statistical models such as multinomial logistic regression

Responsibilities

• Own development of cohorts to understand behavior across end-to-end shopping journey
• Identify query shapes and interaction patterns driving customer value
• Build predictive models to estimate re-engagement and long-term adoption
• Invent and publish scalable metrics and dashboards for actionable insights
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Economics to translate insights into roadmap priorities
