Job summary

Amazon's Alexa for Shopping Analytics team seeks a Sr BIE to own analytics strategy for GenAI-powered shopping experiences. You will partner with senior leaders to deliver high-quality insights that inform executive decisions for the AI shopping assistant, Alexa for Shopping.

You will invent metrics, scale automated analytical workflows, and help shape the product roadmap in a fast-moving GenAI space, balancing ambiguity with rigorous analysis and cross-functional collaboration with product,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional or military experience
• 5+ years of SQL experience
• 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources
• 1+ years of performing statistical analysis
• 1+ years of developing automated reporting experience
• 5+ years in data roles (Data Analyst/Data Engineer/BI Analyst)
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math/Statistics/Economics
• Experience with AWS technologies
• Experience with information retrieval, data science, ML and data mining

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the reporting layer and knowledge graph powering our in-house analytics agent.
• Partner with product teams to define and maintain KPIs behind go/no-go decisions.
• Invent, operationalize, and publish scalable metrics and dashboards for data-driven product growth and executive decisions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve logging and modeling of customer engagement data.
