Job summary

Qualified Health in Palo Alto is seeking a Platform Engineer to help build and maintain our Gen AI for Healthcare SaaS platform. As an early engineering team member, you will shape core services, ensure reliable integration, and contribute to scalable infrastructure.

You will write clean code in Python and other languages, collaborate across teams, and participate in DevOps, CI/CD, and monitoring. On-site 3 days/week, with competitive salary and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• Production experience with a generative AI application or platform at scale.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with TypeScript or Java; experience with Go or Rust preferred.
• Strong understanding of microservices and RESTful APIs; cloud & IaC experience (Terraform).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines; DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core platform services; ensure seamless integration with architecture.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code following best practices; update docs.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation, monitoring, and alerting strategies.
• Assist in managing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables; participate in code reviews.
