Spring Health is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build and scale a centralized AI platform powering care capabilities. Based in San Francisco with 2–3 days in the office, you will collaborate across teams, own platform reliability, and advance GenAI deployments.

You should have a CS/Data Science degree and 4–6 years of Python experience with GenAI/ML libraries, plus Kubernetes and cloud tooling. A strong mentor and communicator is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS, data science, or related field.
• 4–6 years Python development with GenAI/ML libraries.
• Experience deploying and configuring tools in a Kubernetes stack.
• Ability to mentor and communicate complex ideas to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to build and scale our AI platform and GenAI capabilities.
• Monitor uptime and ensure high availability of AI/ML tools.
• Prioritize backlog to drive internal adoption of the platform.
• Participate in on-call rotations and cross-functional AI groups.
• Lead refactoring to enforce centralized coding standards.
• Consult with ML teams to modernize MLOps practices.
• Drive cross-team collaboration for platform adoption.
• Troubleshoot AWS/Azure cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Identify process optimizations balancing feature development and support.
