Qualifications

• Have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 2–4 years of experience.
• Extensive Lufkin Gears product line domain expertise.
• Experience with CAD software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel up to 15% for customers or internal meetings.
• Strong oral and written communication and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements, operating conditions, specs, and drawings to select products.
• Identify existing designs meeting performance and standards; modify as needed.
• Prepare cost analyses and pricing recommendations per LUFKIN policies.
• Develop complete proposal packages with pricing, drawings, data sheets, specs.
• Support Field Sales with proposals, communications, and technical presentations.
• Participate in negotiations covering technical, commercial, and contractual aspects.
