Job summary

Baker Hughes in the United States is seeking an Engineering Professional – Mechanical Engineering to support product development, sustaining engineering, design and R&D activities.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure engineering excellence across the product lifecycle. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and strong modeling/simulation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• Foundational technical expertise with experience in mechanical simulations and 3D modeling.
• Strong problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with independence and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support product development, sustaining engineering, design, and R&D activities across mechanical projects.
• Plan and conduct research, design, and development for standard engineering tasks.
• Apply engineering techniques to solve technical challenges and develop design recommendations.
• Evaluate results for applicability and conformance to specifications.
• Contribute to projects with moderate impact on cost, performance, and manufacturing methods.
• Assist in project planning, execution, and technical reviews to ensure delivery.
• Support larger projects or lead smaller projects under supervision.
• Collaborate with other disciplines, support organizations, and suppliers for integration.
