Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Principal Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (GCP) to lead the cloud engineering team and own the enterprise GCP platform. You will set architectural directions, establish standards, and ensure secure, scalable, IaC-driven deployments across the organization.

You will mentor engineers, enforce IaC patterns, partner with security, operations, and business stakeholders, and drive platform initiatives with a focus on reliability, performance, and cost visibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cloud and infrastructure engineering with 5+ years of deep GCP experience.
• Ownership of a GCP organization: hierarchy, IAM, policies, multi-project governance.
• Proven platform leadership and ability to grow engineers.
• Deep GCP expertise across compute, networking, data, security, IaC, observability, and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• GCP platform ownership: end-to-end org, landing zone, security and compliance.
• Lead the GCP cloud engineering team; set direction and review designs.
• Drive IaC and automation; build CI/CD pipelines for platform and apps.
• Architect networking, security, and governance; ensure reliable operations.
• Own platform strategy, FinOps, and continuous improvements.
