Job summary

Onix is seeking a Senior GCP Devops/SRE Architect to design, document, and validate modern cloud solutions on AWS and GCP. You will lead cross-functional efforts, build scalable architectures, and mentor teams to deploy robust, cloud-native apps.

Remote role with emphasis on designing for scale, security, and performance. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in microservices, CI/CD, and modern deployment practices across multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and develop cloud-based solutions for pilot with multiple customers.
Provide solutions training to internal teams based on feedback.
Educate teams on new cloud initiatives and required training.
Collaborate in cross-functional teams to bring validated solutions to market.
Advise on Professional Services engagements for robust cloud deployments.
Build reusable toolsets and modules for future client use.
Deliver client presentations reviewing design, outcomes and recommendations.
Proactively identify issues and implement preventive fixes.
Lead and mature best practices for the Cloud team.
Stay current with industry trends to drive competitive advantage.
