  • Build and maintain ETL/data pipelines to support application and business requirements.
  • Utilize GitHub‑based workflows and automation to support source control, deployment, and engineering processes.
  • Work with GCP‑based development and coding tools to develop and implement cloud solutions.
  • Translate business and agency‑level requirements into clear technical requirements, solutions, and implementation plans.
  • Collaborate directly with Agency stakeholders to understand their needs, identify technical solutions, and communicate complex cloud concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Establish and improve cloud engineering standards, processes, documentation, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, application development, infrastructure engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proven experience migrating applications or workloads into GCP.

  • Experience provisioning, configuring, and scaling GCP resources such as compute and storage.
  • Experience with GitHub and Git‑based development/automation workflows.
  • Hands‑on experience building and supporting ETL/data pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud automation and Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, deployment processes, and cloud‑native development concepts.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex problems, and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in Application Development prior to transitioning into cloud engineering.
  • Experience establishing processes and standards for application migration into GCP.
  • Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, or similar services.
  • Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure‑as‑Code technologies.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD automation platforms.
