Job summary

Capstone IT is helping our client find a Google Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage GCP infrastructure with a small team, driving the organization's cloud adoption strategy.

This role builds and optimizes CI/CD pipelines, automates deployments, supports migrations, and ensures secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience required.
• 10+ years of IT experience in the field.
• 8+ years cloud engineering experience with GCP.
• 5+ years hands-on GCP experience and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy cloud solutions on GCP (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run).
• Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead cloud adoption and migration initiatives.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Monitor performance, security, and cloud spend.
• Troubleshoot cloud issues and support application teams.
• Document cloud environments, processes, and configurations.
