Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Senior Supervisory Risk & Controls professional within Global Banking & Markets (GBM) to drive the expansion of the program for the Capital Solutions Group (CSG) in New York.

The role focuses on building a comprehensive supervisory framework, defining governance, and collaborating with Compliance, Engineering, Legal and business teams to monitor risk and ensure regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; experience with supervisory frameworks or regulatory implementation preferred.
• Strong time and project management skills; ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of Capital Solutions Group (CSG) business activities.
• Develop the supervisory framework for CSG activities, including desk controls, monitoring & tools.
• Define controls to manage risk, including escalation and supervisor expectations.
• Establish governance processes for monitoring and oversight of controls.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across banks, Compliance, Engineering and Legal.
• Represent the team in governance forums to demonstrate monitoring and engagement with business teams.
• Coordinate with GBM Public teams to ensure consistency of the supervisory program.
