Job summary

The Goldman Sachs Group, within Global Banking & Markets, is seeking a candidate to expand the Supervisory Risk & Controls program for the Capital Solutions Group (CSG) in New York. The role focuses on building and implementing controls across financing, origination, structuring and risk management processes.

The successful candidate will partner with bankers, Compliance, Engineering and Legal to ensure consistent governance and timely escalation of issues, with a strong emphasis on project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in risk controls or banking.
• Familiarity with banking activities including financing, origination, structuring and underwriting.
• Familiarity with securities markets, derivative products and deal flows.
• Strong time and project management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of Capital Solutions Group (CSG) business activities.
• Support the development of the supervisory framework for CSG activities, including desk controls, monitoring & tools.
• Define and implement controls to manage risk, including supervisor expectations and escalation.
• Support governance processes to drive monitoring & oversight for the covered controls.
• Build relationships with stakeholders such as bankers, Compliance, Engineering and Legal.
• Engage with GBM Public side teams to drive consistency across the divisional supervisory program.
