Job summary

This role sits in GBM Supervisory Risk & Controls, supporting the Capital Solutions Group (CSG) to expand the supervisory framework and implement risk controls across financing, origination, structuring and underwriting.

The team partners with bankers, Compliance and Legal to ensure governance, monitoring and escalation are effective, with a focus on policy adherence and timely risk oversight in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Prior knowledge of banking activities including financing, origination, structuring & underwriting.
• Familiarity with securities markets, derivative products, deal flows.
• Strong time and project management and attention to detail; able to work in a fast-paced environment; communicate factually and influentially.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of Capital Solutions Group (CSG) business activities
• Support development of the supervisory framework for CSG business activities, including desk controls, monitoring & tools
• Define and implement controls to manage risk, including supervisor expectations and escalation
• Support governance processes to drive monitoring & oversight for the covered controls
• Build relationships with stakeholder groups to implement the program, including bankers, Compliance, Engineering, Legal and others
• Engage with GBM Public side teams to drive consistency across the divisional supervisory program and related monitoring
