Job summary

Solvay in the United States is seeking a Surface Production Senior Gatekeeper to coordinate production and maintenance activities, validate work requests, and align resources to reliability goals.

You will collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Logistics, leading gatekeeping to address risks and permits, developing production plans, and driving continuous improvement through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering degree preferred with 5–10 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in plant operations and safety practices is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Production and Maintenance to validate work requests, schedules, and equipment availability.
• Review, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance notifications and work activities to support reliability and production objectives.
• Lead gatekeeping processes to ensure production risks, permitting requirements, and operational constraints are addressed during planning and execution.
• Develop and communicate production plans while coordinating activities with Maintenance, Mine Operations, Logistics, and other stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement, operational excellence, and manufacturing initiatives through data analysis, team collaboration, and process optimization.

The base pay expected for this role is: $108,000-$140,000 per year in the United States. Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
